10-year-old Nigerian singer, Christiana Igbokwe, has been honored with the Diana Award 2023 for going above and beyond in her daily life to create and sustain positive change.

Christiana Igbokwe is the granddaughter of the music legend, late Christy Essien Igbokwe MFR, has been recognized the for her social action and humanitarian effort’s.
The award was established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, with the support of both her sons, Prince Williams, The Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex.
The Diana awards is the most prestigious accolade a young person from age 9-25 can receive for their social action or humanitarian work.
Christiana donates her savings to ‘Santa In A Box’, a Christmas outreach programme that brings aid to orphans in Nigeria by providing financial support, material resources, and fun activities.
She has also donated funds for school fees and volunteered her time to support orphanages, organized music concerts and dance challenges to raise funds for girls’ education, and campaigned for reforms and change through her songs.
The virtual award had Prince Williams, Prince Harry and the CEO of Diana Awards Tessy Ojo in attendance.
