WhatsApp has introduced an editing feature on its app which will allow users to edit messages which has a mistake, mispelt words or simply typographical error, within 15 minutes after it has been sent.

The  edited messages, will have an ‘edited’ notification, but the edit history will not be displayed so a user cannot view the message before it’s modification.

Meta founder and Chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, illustrated the feature on his Facebook page, showing a message which had been changed from “Beast of luck” to “Best of luck” for better understanding.

The feature will be rolled out globally and be available to users in the next few weeks.
