Nollywood actress and politician, Funke Akindele, has lost her beloved mother, Dr. RB Adebanjo–Akindele on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023.
According to a statement released by the actress’s elder sister, Olubunmi Akindele on her Instagram page on behalf of the families of Adebanjo and Akindele.
It was with a heavy heart that she announced the demise of her mother, which occurred on Tuesday, 7th February, 2023.
She wrote:
“It is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday 07 February 2023.
Until her death, she was survived by three children, the famous Funke Akindele, Abimbola Maria Akindele and Olubunmi Akindele.
