Afrobeat singer, Davido, has reportedly given the sum of N2 million to the father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Music promoter and Social media influencer, OGB, revealed this through his Twitter account, noting that Davido sent someone to give the money to the late singer’s father.
He wrote:
“Mohbad’s father just said Davido sent somebody to him with N2m. God bless Davido mehn.”
Many celebrities and musicians have taken to social media to mourn the singer.
Mohbad passed away on the 12th of September, 2023, at the age of 27 years, and the cause of his death remains unknown.
The Afrobeats singer’s admirers thanked him in the comments section for his thoughtful gesture towards the family of the late Mohbad.

Mohbad was buried on the 13th of September, 2023, in Ikorudu, Lagos State, amidst tears.
