Afrobeat star, Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as ‘Asake‘ has unceremoniously ended his performance on Sunday, 9th October 2022, at the Patapsco Arena, Baltimore, USA, after he was advised to do so by his security team for security reasons.
Asake had only performed for about 10 minutes, at a sold-out show in Baltimore USA, when the organizers got a report of a security breach, and they swung into action to avoid any unwanted situation.
Footage emerged online showing the moment Asake hurriedly made his way out from the event surrounded by security personnel while his thongs of fans watched.
The organizers of the show took to their social media Instagram page to apologize to fans for the sudden abrupt of the show, as things did not go as planned.
The organizers had released a statement apologizing for how the show ended, noting that it was done for the safety of everyone present.
The swift evacuation of the star according to reports, is that one of the security personnel at the event reported losing his gun in the fully packed indoor hall, which prompted the organizers to end the show and prioritize the safety of the star and everyone present at the show.
The United States has a record of gun violence which has increased over the years, and recently an American artist PnB Rock was shot dead at a restaurant in Los Angeles, California.
However, despite the apology, some fans had demanded for a refund from the organizers of the show.
