Nigerian singer and politician, Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, trended on Twitter on Saturday, 25th June 2023, over an unconfirmed report that he cheated on his wife Adesua Etomi.
The rumor started when gossip blog, Gistlover, took to its social media pages to hint about a certain ‘singer and politician who is light-skinned’, impregnating his side chic.
According to the blog, the man was already having an affair with the lady before he got married and continued after.
The blog also alleged that the side chic has allegedly terminated two pregnancies for the singer and refused to abort the third, a situation which left the man feeling confused.
Barely two hours after the post was made, Banky W started trending based on speculations by some Twitter users who alleged that the man in question was him.
Meanwhile, the report left many in disbelief as they expressed their disappointment with the rumor.
