Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as CeeC, has revealed that housemates are being paid N300,000 weekly to be on the reality series.
She disclosed this while chatting with her fellow housemates, on Saturday, 2nd September 2023.
During the conversation, CeeC said, “The N300,000 we are being paid every week, I think by now it should be…”
Neo replied: “That is N2 million already and CeeC added: “By now abi? Omo, we don try.”
The revelation by Ceec brings to the fore the financial aspect of appearing on the show and came as a shock to many fans of the show who thought participation was free since the contestants were there to win a prize.
Big Brother Naija Season 8, also known as Big Brother Naija All Stars, is the eight and All Star season of the Nigerian reality show Big Brother. It premiered on Sunday, 23 July, 2023, with 20 housemates.
