Grammy Award-winning Afrobeat star, Burnaboy, has added another colorful feather to his hat after his hit song received a Gold certification in the United Kingdom for his sensational single ‘Last Last’.

‘Last Last’ received a Gold certification after selling over 500,000 units in the United Kingdom.

The certification was announced by the official account of the Brits Awards on Twitter on the 23rd September 2022, with a creative of the cover art of “Last Last” spotting a gold stamp.

Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ certification in the UK makes the singer’s third Gold certification as it joins his African Giant album and his ‘Ye’ single in officially selling 400,000 units in the United Kingdom.

This recent certification also makes Burna Boy the Nigerian and African artist with the most Gold certification in the region. ‘Last Last’ is part of Burna Boy’s latest project, “Love , Damini”, which has been dominating the music space since its release.

Burna Boy has also announced that he intends to realease ‘Love, Damini’ deluxe.

The deluxe will likely come with a ‘Last Last” remix that features Nigerian British rapper Dave.

The arrival of the remix is expected to further propel the song to fame in the United Kingdom and give it a shot for a platinum plaque.
