Nigerian actress, Chioma Akpotha has joined the “carry me dey go my husband house challenge in a hilarious video she uploaded on her Instagram page.

In the video, Chioma is seeing packing loads of household and kitchen items, including a pack of sachet water on her head, giving the impression that she is fully ready for what it may entail to be in a “husband’s house”, as implied by the trending song.

The original version of the song reads “Jehovah carry me dey go, dey go, dey go“, but the new viral version started with a recent video, where a gathering of women, which seemed to be made up of women attending a singles vigil in the church, sang “carry me dey go my husband house“.

The video caught like wildfire after it went viral because it portrayed another angle of the desperate desires of single ladies to get married.

Several funny versions have since been produced mimicking the original carry me dey go my husband house one

In her version of the song, Toyin Abraham went the extra mile to change some lyrics to suit her situation, as she is already married and would obviously love to remain in her marriage. Watch the hilarious version.

The actress sang “Jehovah carry me stay my husband house” to her husband, who looked a bit confused at her.

Many other versions of the viral song have also been produced. One of the hilarious ones is a group of people doing a choir version:
