Renowned singer Celine Dion recently made a rare public appearance, attending an NHL hockey game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens on Monday, 30th October 2023.
Dion, who has been dealing with Stiff Person’s Syndrome, a rare medical condition causing muscle spasms, had to cancel the remaining dates of her Courage World Tour earlier in 2023.
Despite her health challenges, she expressed gratitude to the Montreal Canadiens for a memorable post-game meet-up with her family.
My boys and I had such a fun time visiting with the Montreal Canadiens after their hockey game with the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas Monday night,” Dion said in the post. “They played so well, what a game!! Thank you for meeting us after the game, guys! That was memorable for all of us. Have a great season!”

The Canadiens vice president of communications also posted photos alongside Dion on Instagram thanking the singer for her generosity.
“The whole team was very happy to meet you and your family,” the post read in French.
The autoimmune disorder affects the central nervous system, resulting in muscle rigidity and painful spasms, with no known cure.
