81-year-old ‘Madam Social’, whose real name is Mama Roseline Onwujekwe, has passed on.
Madam Social passed away on Tuesday 7th May 2022. She was a comedienne, who came into limelight in 2021.
She gained a large following on her Facebook page as a result of her humorous advice-based comedy skits, which earned her the nickname “Madam Social”.
SUNCity Africa nominated Madam Social for ‘Comedian of the Year‘ in the Entertainment category, where she competed with a slew of other well-known comics and comediennes.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed yet, although she was said to have battled hearing and speaking difficulties, which took her away from social media for some time before she passed on.
