Chief Executive Officer, CEO of twitter Elon Musk, has announced on Monday, 8th May, 2023, that the platform will be purging inactive accounts that have been unused for several years.
Twitter has a policy that requires users to log in at least once in 30 days, to avoid permanent account deletion, but the company has not made a significant effort to restore usernames to rotation until now.
However, Musk gave no timeline for when the change will take place, but warned that post-expulsion, people should expect their followers to drop.
