Celebrities and fans of the Adelekes have sent in their condolences to superstar musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, over the death of their son, Ifeanyi.

Ifeanyi, who had recently marked his 3rd birthday on 20th October 2022, was reported to have drowned at his parent’s home in Banana Island in Lagos, 11 days after, on the 31st October 2022.

His death has continued to bring different reactions from different personalities around the world, including Davido’s counterparts in the entertainment industry as well as fans on social media.

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo expressed her shock on her Instagram page. The actress also disabled comments on the post, an act many have attributed to mourning.

In a post by actor, Williams Uchemba, on his Instagram page, he called on people to join in prayers for the Adelekes, with a caption “Please say a prayer for David, Chioma, and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up, little one.”

Comedian Ayo Makun, on his Instagram page, described the pain of losing a child. ”the death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic. This hits me so bad.

Fans and well wishers have thronged social media with posts expressing various emotions on the passing of the young one.

Some called out the parents for negligence, while others empathized with them.

Eight people who were put in charge of little Ifeanyi have since been arrested.
