Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ike Onyema, has reacted to insinuations that he lived off Mercy Eke while they were in a relationship.
His reaction comes after Mercy stated in a podcast interview with Nedu Wazoboa and Pretty Mike, that she was once in a relationship with someone she “took care of”. She, however, did not categorically state who she was referring to.
The interviewers and those listening were quick to jump to the conclusion that she was referring to Ike, with Pretty Mike and Nedu interjecting that they knew who she was referring to, and then asking questions about her relationship with Ike.
Stating that she could only speak for herself, Mercy denied the knowledge of any relationship with Ike.
The reality TV star said: “I don’t know what you are talking about.” when asked if she had been in a relationship with Ike.
Ike has now denied claims that any woman has ever taken care of him. In a post shared on his Instagram page, Ike also dared any lady who claims to have taken care of him while they were together to provide receipts.
The duo met and became a pair during their time at the Big Brother Naija season 5 show. Shortly after they left the house, the relationship went sour and they went their seperate ways.
