Lloyd Ekweremadu, the son of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, got married to Tiffany Uzor in Abuja, on Saturday, 19th August 2023, in the absence of his parents who are currently serving jail terms in the United Kingdom.
Top chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, including three former Senate Presidents, Anyim Pius Anyim, David Mark, and Bukola Saraki, and PDP governorship candidate in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, among others, attended the occasion.
Meanwhile, the Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has hailed the couple on their day and prayed God to bless their union, he wrote on verified Facebook page,

The London Metropolitan Police detained Ike and Beatrice Ekweremadu in June 2022 after they were accused of attempting to persuade medical professionals at the Royal Free Hospital in London to perform an £80,000 transplant on the donor.
A UK Court sentenced the former Deputy Senate President and PDP chieftain to nine years and eight months in prison while his wife was sentenced to four years and six months.
