Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari of the need to quickly address people’s worries about alleged discrepancies in the 25th February, 2023, general election results.

In a letter released on Monday, 27th February, 2023, Obasanjo said that Buhari should not ignore the concerns raised about the election process.
He also said that steps needed to be taken right away, such as rescheduling polls in affected areas as agents from the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party have rejected results of some states, as the results of the presidential and national assembly elections are being collated across the country.
