The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC,governor Duoye Diri, the candidate of the People’s Democrtatic Part, PDP, the winner of the November, 11th 2023 governorship election in Bayelsa State.
INEC REC in the state, Obo Effanga, on Monday, 13th November 2023, declared Diri after he won six of the eight local governments in the state.
Diri polle 175,196 votes above his closest rival Timipriye Silvia of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who scored 110,108.
