BBNaija reality TV personality, Venita Akpofure‘s former spouse, Terna Tarka, has refuted her disparaging remarks made during her time on Big Brother Naija, that TIV men give their wives to their guests for entertainment.
Tarka, in a video shared on his Instagram on Wednesday, 25th October 2023, addressed the issue, firmly denying the notion that TIV men offer their wives to guests for entertainment.
I am here to address a very controversial narrative making rounds on social media. This is regarding a statement saying that when TIV men house guests, they give their wives out to these men for pleasure. Speaking as a proud TIV man who was born into one of the most prominent families.
I would like to categorically state that in all my years of hosting my guests, even the thought of such a derogatory practice has never crossed my mind. So, therefore, such a thing never occurred in my marriage. I speak on behalf of all TIV men when I say that such a practice does not happen.”
