The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC has pressed charges against Prof Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar.

This action comes after an investigation by the anti-graft commission.
According to a statement on the commission’s Twitter handle, the spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua, stated that the arraignment date will be determined by the court.
The charges against Prof Ndifon include allegations of sexual harassment, official corruption, and abuse of office, which violate Sections 8, 18, and 19 of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act, 2000.
Prof Ndifon was apprehended in Calabar, Cross River State, on 4th October 2023, by the ICPC in collaboration with the Department of State Services, following his failure to respond to several invitations.
