Young filmmakers, Ikorodu Bois, have mimicked a video of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Osun State , Ademola Adeleke, who was declared the winner of the Osun State governorship election on Sunday, 17th July, 2022.

In a video that has since gone viral, the boys were seen re-enacting a video of Adeleke, who was seen listening anxiously as results were announced, amidst a group of supporters.

As Adeleke was announced winner, he, in a jubilant mood, got up and prostrated to an elder, who many have said, is his elder brother. The cheery supporters also went wild in jubilation.

Adeleke, 62, was returned elected by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after polling 403,371 votes, to defeat his closest rival and incumbent governor, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who scored 375,027 votes, as well as 13 other contestants in the race.

Adeleke also won 17 of the 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state while Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) clinched the remaining LGAs.

Ikorodu Bois is made up of three siblings namely, Babatunde Sanni, Muiz Sanni, Malik Sanni, and their cousin, Fawas Aina.

In a tweet to celebrate his victory, Ademola Adeleke, the governor-elect said, “I have brought light to Osun State“.
