American singer, Jennifer Lopez, and her partner, Ben Affleck, are officially husband and wife.
The couple obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada and tied the knot in a small ceremony at midnight, 17th July 2022, after a relationship that spanned over two decades.
The singer revealed that Affleck proposed to her for the second time while she was taking a bubble bath at home in April 2022.
She further revealed that they flew to Las Vegas on Saturday, stood in line for their license with four other couples and were wed just after midnight at the Little White Chapel, a chapel boasting a drive – through “tunnel of Love.”
Lopez announced their marriage on Sunday, 17th July, in her news letter for fans. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.” she wrote and signed as Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
The couple first sparked engagement rumors earlier after JLo was spotted wearing a big rock. The superstar couple reunited in April 2021, after Jlo split with MLB Alex Rodriguez, decades after their initial highly publicized engagement in 2002, ehich hit the rocks after they postponed the wedding in 2003 and they split months later in January 2004.
Lopez later got married to Mac Anthony in June 2004, with whom she bore two children: Emme and Max, born in 2008.
Meanwhile Affleck tied the knot with Jennifer Garner in June 2005 and went on to welcome three kids with the actress: Violet , Seraphina and Sam.
