Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian is set to receive $200,000 monthly from Kanye West in child support, as the two have come to a divorce agreement 21 months after she filed for divorce.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, on the 29th November, 2022, the two would also share joint custody of their four children, who are aged between four and nine.

The duo apparently reached a settlement, averting trial that had been set for December, 2022.

Documents filed in Los Angeles superior court state that the couple will not take financial support from each other and will share joint custody of their four kids – North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.

The two have also equally split expenses for their kids’ private security and private school, including college. They are also mandated to settle their debts.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.

Earlier in March, as per Kim’s request, the judge declared them legally single, ending their eight-year marriage. However, issues of property and custody had to be worked out in a trial starting December 14.

Talking about her divorce earlier this year, Kim told Vogue, “For so long, I did what made other people happy. And I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s okay to choose you.”

In September, West, who in the latter part of this year has lost multiple business partnerships following a string of antisemetic commentspublicly apologized to Kardashian in an interview with “Good Morning America” for “any stress” he’s caused her.

This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger,”.
