Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad’s name has been added to the 27 Club Wikipedia page.

Although the claim of a “statistical spike” for the death of musicians at that age has been refuted by scientific research, it remains a cultural phenomenon, with many celebrities who died at 27 and were noted for their high-risk lifestyles.

Ilerioluwa Aloba was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Lagos State. He was born on 8th June 1996 and was known professionally as MohBad.

He was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records and left the label in 2022. He was best known for his hit singles “Ponmo, Feel Good”, and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” (You Will Always Be Remembered) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for ‘The Headies Awards’, 2022.

MohBad and his wife Wunmi had a son. He died on Tuesday, 12th September 2023, after being treated for an infection.
