The National Examinations Council, NECO is postponing the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the entrance examination into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, due to low enrollment of candidates.
The announcement was made in a statement released in Abuja on Tuesday, 16th April 2024, by Azeez Sani, the acting Director of Information and Digital Communication for the council.
Sani explained that the common entrance examination, initially set for April 20, 2024, will now take place on June 1, 2024.
The statement reads;
The rescheduling of the two examinations was due to low enrolment of candidates.
All candidates, parents, guardians, schools and relevant stakeholders are therefore enjoined to take note of the new dates for the examinations.

Additionally, the entrance examination for Gifted and Talented Children into Federal Government Academy, Suleja, originally scheduled for May 4, 2024, has been rescheduled to May 25, 2024.
Sani urged candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders to make note of the new examination dates.
