The mother of late musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has accused the deceased’s father of refusing to give permission for the singer to be reburied after the body had been released by the police, following the completion of an autopsy.
Olumiyi who spoke in Yoruba, made this claim in a viral video on Tuesday 21st November 2023.
She also asked Nigerians for help in convincing the singer’s father to collect his remains from the Lagos State Police Command.
“Nigerians, I cry to you to help demand the release of my son’s corpse. I pray that you will not witness your children’s death too.

Mohbad’s mother pleaded with President Bola Tinubu, youngsters at home and abroad, and friends of the late singer to come to her aid.
She added that the situation was becoming unbearable and that his remains had been traveling around since he was exhumed.
This development is coming after Joseph Aloba, the late singer’s father, said that no one should take his son’s body for burial without his permission.
Lerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, died on September 12, 2023, under unexplained circumstances.
The police formed an investigation team to find out what caused singer Mohbad’s death on September 12 after his passing caused controversy both within and outside of Nigeria.
