BenKingsley Nwashala, a Nigerian man who rescued a 2-year-old girl, abandoned by the roadside in the Agbani area of Enugu state in June 2022, recently shared a heartwarming photo of himself with the child via his X handle on Wednesday, 8th November 2023.

Nwashara, who is now taking care of the little girl, posted a picture of her wearing her school uniform on her school’s openday.

“I had to leave early from work to attend the school open day. I never knew there’s a thing like Open Day until” he wrote.

On June 15th 2023, 27-year-old Law graduate Benkingsley Nwashara found a 2-year-old girl on his way back from a party with friends. He made the decision to care for her because her mother, who was reportedly mentally unstable had given birth just days before was no where to be found.
