Nigerian Rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips took to his Instagram page on Wednesday 28th November 2023, to refute suggestions that he faked his death.

He accused colleague Qdot, of misleading the public by quickly announcing his survival on social media while his family remained uncertain about his condition.

The rapper said that particular action by Qdot fueled rumours that he staged his own death

According to the Rapper, Q dot made it seem like the two had a recent conversation, despite not having spoken since January 2, 2022.

Oladips, clarified that he did not fake his death contrary to viral reports that he pulled a death hoax to promote his new album

He also promised to share evidence to tell the full story to clear his name.

Earlier in November, Oladip’s management had announced in a statement released via his Instagram page that the rapper died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

However, some of his associates, including rapper Qdot revealed on social media that Oladips was very much alive.

Oladips also came forward with video evidence to prove that he was alive and well, which fueled rumours that he faked his death to promote his new project.
