Nigerian singer, Patoranking, whose real name is Nnaemeka Okorie, has been selected as one of the musicians from across the world to perform at the FIFA World Cup Fan Festival in Qatar, ahead of the World Cup.
The reggae-dancehall singer would be performing alongside DJ Aseel and Hassan Shakosh at the festival, this is coming shortly after fellow Nigerian singer, Davido, was confirmed to be featured on the FIFA World Cup soundtrack.
According to reports, the reggae-dancehall music star will be performing at the kickoff of the event on the 28th November, 2022.
The music stars are said to also be joining the likes of Gims, Julian Marley and The Uprising and the Miami Band who would entertain a global audience during the World Cup period.
Despite the non-qualification of the Super Eagles for the first Mundial in the Middle East, Nigerian star act, Davido was selected amongst the artists from around the world that played the theme song of this edition.
Davido featured prominently along with other top stars from around the world. Last month, the video boomed through the electronic scoreboard at the opening of the Lusail Stadium, scheduled to host the final game of this edition on 18th December, 2022.
