The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Limited has denied rumors of an impending increase in pump prices.
In a statement released on X by the company’s management on Friday, 6th October, 2023, NNPC assured customers that there are no plans to raise prices for Premium Motor Spirit, PMS.
Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPC Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated. Please buy the best-quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPC Retail Stations nationwide.

According to NNPC Limited, NNPC retail stations are committed to providing the best quality products at affordable prices.
However, it is worth noting that since President Bola Tinubu announced the removal of fuel subsidy, the NNPC has already increased prices twice, resulting in a cost double the previous price of N185 per liter.
