In one of the Passing out Parade, POP, picture post, while celebrating he wrote a note of gratitude saying:

“Concentrate on things your capacity doesn’t prevent you doing well, and don’t regret the things it interferes with. Don’t be disabled in spirit as well as physically. Disability is a matter of perception. If you can do just one thing well, you’re needed and valued by someone.

The 28-year-old Ikiotere is a graduate of Niger Delta University, Amasoma in Bayelsa State, where he studied Management. Ikiotere is from Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State but had his Youth service, NYSC, in Ede, Osun state.

he had previously granted an interview at the beginning of his service year in 2021, where he said there is “no excuse for failure”.

He earlier said: “Having a physical deformity should not make you think much. Your life is not over as long as you are mentally stable. You do not have to make excuses for failure. You have every reason to be who God wants you to be by his grace”.

Even though along the line you will face depression, difficulty and hardship do not let it get to you. “Other people without physical deformity also feel down at some point in their lives and still come out of it. “We can too if we put our minds to it. We can achieve anything and everything“.

The super excited Ikeotere was surrounded by his fellow corps members to celebrate the passing out from the service year and his achievements as described in various of his Facebook post, posted on his page.
