Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal, has finally addressed a viral private tape about her which leaked online on Saturday, 9th September, 2023. In a post on her Instagram story, the Nollywood actress described the publication as a breach of her privacy.
She affirmed that the people involved will face the full force of the law.
The video which shows the actress engaging in a sexual act with a person she admitted to be her ex-fiance, triggered many reactions online with the majority alleging that the ‘A Time To Heal’ actress leaked the tape herself.
However, the actress took to her Instagram page on Sunday 10th September 2023 to confirm she was the person in the tape but debunked the claims that she authorised the distribution of the said tape.
A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust.

She further added that she intends to seek legal action on the matter.
“I want to emphasise that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorised distribution is a breach of my boundaries. However this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action.
