Nottingham Forest Football Club, NFFC, has hailed Nigerian international striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, on Tuesday, 19th September, 2023, for the goals contribution to the club from last season to the present season.

The club made this known in its X handle by stating the number of goals scored by the striker with the symbol of balls.
Awoniyi goals scoring, contributed greatly to NFFC in its struggle to avoid relegation last season.
The former Liverpool striker is on from where he paused last season. Presently, he has netted three goals and two assists in this league campaign.
His goal in Forest’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United proved Awoniyi equivalent to Mohamed Salah and Emmanuel Adebayor’s feat of scoring in seven consecutive games with effect from the end of last season.
Meanwhile, his assist in the 1-1 against Burnley on Monday, 18th September, 2023, moves his club to their X handle to salute him.
