President Bola Tinubu, has approved the inclusion of a Service Rapid Intervention Vehicle in his convoy, He will be the first president to have the fire fighting vehicle in his convoy.

This was disclosed by the Controller General of Federal fire Service, Jaji AdulGaniyu, while receiving the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Oluwartoyin Akinlade in his office.
President Tinubu will be the first president to have the fire fighting vehicle in his convoy in the history of the country.

AbdulGaniyu disclosed that the fire Service have just procured 15 Ford Built Rapid Intervention Vehicles, which is ideal for combating fire incidents at it’s early stage.

He however revealed the service lacked the needed manpower to effectively carry out its mandates.
In response, Akinlade promised that the welfare of personnel in the service would be prioritized to boost their morale.
