President Bola Tinubu has suspended the National Social Investment Programme Agency, NSIPA and its administered programmes.
This programmes includes N-Power, Conditional Cash Transfer, Government Enterprise and Empowerment, and Home Grown School Feeding, for a preliminary period of six weeks.
The suspension follows an ongoing investigation into alleged mismanagement and concerns about operational issues.
President Tinubu has established a ministerial panel to thoroughly review the agency’s operations and recommend necessary reforms.
During the suspension, all NSIPA-related activities, including distributions, events, payments, collaborations, and registrations, are halted.
The President assures stakeholders and Nigerians of a transparent process to ensure effective social intervention programs for the vulnerable.
