After they gave up royal duty and left Britain, Harry and Meghan had said Frogmore Cottage, which was renovated with 2.4 million pounds, taxpayers money, although repaid by the prince in September 2020, would remain their base when they visited the U.K.

It is said that disclosures Harry made in his book “Spare”, deepened the rift between him and his family as it included his account of private conversations with his father, and his brother, Prince William.

The late Queen Elizabeth, gave the royal pair Frogmore Cottage, a Grade-II listed 10-bedroom home in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire to the prince.
