Chief Natasha Akpoti, the Social Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate in Kogi State and Ohi’ogu of Ebira land, got married to her hearthrob, High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan , the Alema of Warri Kingdom, Delta state in a royal wedding On Saturday, 5th March, 2022. 

It was what many would call a roll call of who’s who in Nigeria’s political and entertainment scene.

Natasha, a socialite and human rights activist, had shared several stunning pre-wedding images on her Facebook page, including one of her engagement ring on Valentine’s Day. 

In a Facebook post, she uploaded a stunning video of herself and her hubby’s.

“This is the day the Lord has made,” she captioned it.

The wedding was held in the bride’s village of Obeiba in Ihima Kogi state, with the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, His Majesty, King Ado Ibrahim, as Chief Host and Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, a former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, as Chairman.

The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Tsola Emiko, the groom’s cousins and former governors of Delta State, Chief James Ibori and Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP National Working Committee led by the National Chairman, Dr Iyiorcha Ayu, Uche Ogah, Minister of State for Mines and Steel, and Dr Philip Salawu, a former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, to name a few.

A concert featuring some of the world’s most famous people had already been organized in their honour. 2Baba Idibia, Iyanya, Oritsefemi, Kizz Daniel, Daddy Showkey, Bovi, Faze, Danfo Driver, Praiz, Hypeman, and Do2tun were some of the celebs who attended the event. 

On February 25, she had invited the public to celebrate with her and her heartthrob. which she  posted pictures and wrote 

“This is us, blended in culture, blessed in love. For God makes all things beautiful in his name.

The wedding, which had been trending on several social media platforms, has finally happened at Natasha’s father’s homeland in Obeiba-Ihima, Kogi State.

Guests were not permitted to sprinkle money during the wedding ceremony as a side note.
