Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake has set a new record as the debutant artist with the most Headies nominations.
According to reports, Organisers of the Headies Award unveiled the nominees for the 16th edition of the award show on Wednesday, 12th July,2023, making him the first artist to bag so many nominations in their debut year at the Headies with a total of eight nominations.
Asake also made history in the process as the first artist to be nominated in both the “Next Rated” and “Best Male Artiste of The Year”.
His other nominations includes, Song of The Year, Digital Artiste of The Year, Best Collaboration, Album of The Year, Best Street-Hop Artiste, and Headies Viewer’s Choice.
