Nigerian kartist, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, widely recognized as Skales, alleged that on the 9th of October 2023, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, intruded into his residence at night, wielding firearms, and intimidating him in front of his family and employees.

Skales asserted that the anti-graft officials involved claimed to be conducting routine checks but ended up causing damage to his property.

He emphasized that he has never engaged in criminal activities or fraud throughout his life.

In response, the EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, refuted the allegations, stating that Skales’ claims were baseless and asserting that the anti-graft agency does not carry out operations in such a manner.

Skales then responded to the spokesperson by sharing CCTV footage and videos from his neighbors as proof of the EFCC’s intrusion into his home.
