Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, has lamented about the alarming rate of people sliding into his Direct Messages, DMs, to beg for huge sums of money, in a video that he shared on his Instagram page on Monday, 10th July 2023.
The actor pointed out that people have turned him into a commercial bank, adding that he would have nothing left if he gave out money to everyone who came to his DM to ask him for money.

Chinedu also narrated how someone sent him a message asking for $35,000, while another person sent him a DM requesting $12,000.
He urged people to consider that celebrities also have responsibilities before they slide into their DMs to beg for financial assistance.
