Farida Fasasi, the widow of singer Lanre Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, on Wednesday 12th July, took to her social media handles to make a heartfelt post in remembrance of her late husband, two years after he passed on.
She posted a video of the star on Instagram smiling, singing, and dancing with a touching caption In honor of his life and legacy.

She also detailed how much the children missed him and how they still talk about him like he was still with them.
Farida touched on Sound Sultan’s impact on people and the music industry in general, and prayed that the singer continued to rest in power.

Sound Sultan passed away on July 11, 2021, after a long battle with a rare form of cancer known as Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
