Nigerian International sensation singer, Temilade Openiyi ‘Tems’, has made another history by becoming the Nigerian with the most entries on America’s Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Tems made history with her fifth entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart withĀ Beyonce‘s songĀ ‘Move’Ā debuting at number 55 on the chart dated August 13th, 2022.
Appearing on the album of a global powerhouse with Beyonce is a landmark moment for Tems who is already enjoying a great run after debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with her contributions onĀ Future’sĀ “Wait For U”.
She also became the first African woman to win a BET Award when she won the Best New Act at the 2022 BET Awards.
Her contributions to the album came inĀ ‘Move‘Ā where she appeared alongsideĀ GraceĀ Jones.

‘Move‘Ā becomes her fifth entry after her guest appearances onĀ Wizkid‘sĀ ‘Essence’Ā which peaked at number 9,Ā Drake’sĀ ‘Fountain’, andĀ Future’sĀ ‘Wait For U’Ā which debuted at number 1. She also scored her first solo entry recently with her 2020 singleĀ ‘Free Mind’Ā debuting at number 90.
TemsĀ have now broken her four-entry tie with Afrobeats heavyweight Wizkid with whom she previously held the record for most Billboard Hot 100 entry by a Nigerian artist.
Tems has won BET Award for Best International Act in 2022, BET Award for Best Collaboration 2022 among others.
