The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has expressed his desire to work with the newly sworn-in President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.
This is contained in a statement, dated Monday 29th May, 2023, from Biden, while felicitating with the new president.
In the release, the US President, emphasized his administration’s readiness to work with President Bola Tinubu, to strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and United State of America, to support economic growth, security advancement and promotion of respect for human dignity.
He expressed optimism on the ideas, energy and dynamic connection between the two countries, noting that the US will continue to work closely with the most populous country in Africa.
