British born Nigerian actor Wale Ojo is expected to lead the cast of the Amazon Nigeria Original feature film set to kick off principal photography at the end of July 2022.

Nemsia films made this confirmation for its Amazon Prime Video Original, ‘Breath of Life.’

The Faith-themed film, written and directed by BB Sasore (God Calling), will center on the story of one man whose encounter with a young man transforms his life and sense of purpose.

Breath of Life will reportedly be set in 1950s Lagos and produced by Eku Edewor.

While the Netflix’s Blood Sisters star Ojo is yet to confirm his latest role, the British/Nigerian star has enjoyed a relatively great year with notable titles including Netflix first Nigerian original series Blood Sisters and Umanu Ojochenemi Elijah’s pollution-themed A Place Called Forward.

The latest Nemsia films project will debut in 2023 and the Prime Video’s Nemsia partnership deal will see the company produce three Amazon Prime Original films.

Wale Ojo was born in London, England and started out as a child star working mainly on drama series and television soaps with Africa’s first television station, WNTV Ibadan.

He is popularly known for his comedy series MEET THE ADEBANJOS (2012-2014) which bagged him a nomination for Best comedy actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2018 and his first break away movie PHONE SWAP for which he won a Nigeria Lite Entertainment Award.
