Nigerian sensation, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, famously known as Mayorkun, recently opened up about his connection with former label head, Davido, stating that contrary to popular belief they have one of the best relationships.
During an episode of a podcast hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, the ‘Gang’ artist explained that their relationship is misinterpreted due to the lack of social media display

Mayorkun said that It’s not about showcasing Davido daily, proclaiming him as his best best friend, adding that, that’s why some assume that they are not close.
He stressed that his relationship with Davido isn’t meant for public consumption.
Mayorkun first gained prominence in 2016 with a cover of Davido’s ‘The Money’ featuring indegeneious rapper, Olamide.
