Singer, Simisola Bolatito, who is popularly known as Simi, in a chat with Beat FM Lagos, on Sunday, 2nd July 2023, disclosed why she decided to date her husband, Adekunle Gold before they got married.
According to Simi, she initially hesitated to date him, because she didn’t know him well, but that his kindness and persistence finally won her over.
The singer said, Adekunle had been messaging her via Facebook for a long time, but she didn’t notice until they started dating.
The couple dated for five years before they finally got married in 2019 and had their first child, named Adejare in 2020.
