Former Big Brother Naija reality show housemate and actress, Venita Akpofure has disclosed that she’s not on talking terms with her colleague, Mercy Eke.
Venita stated this during an interview on the Big Friday Show hosted by her colleague Tacha.

However, speaking of their relationship outside the house, Venita said;
I’m very clear and very transparent, I thought when we came out of the house most of us would be able to rise above some things. Whatever happened in the house is what you saw.

When asked if she had any conversation with Mercy outside the house,
Venita replied;
I was not friends with Mercy before the show. I do see her like once or twice a year at shows or parties because we are not in each other’s circle.

She expressed surprise at fans’ claim that she betrayed Mercy, stating;
I was surprised at the narrative from fans that i betrayed my friend, Mercy Eke.
I don’t wish her any ill, my hands are completely clear, my conscience is clear.

Venita emphasized that she only sees Mercy occasionally at events and parties, as they are not part of each other’s social circles.
Additionally, the TV reality star, mentioned that she and Mercy are not on talking terms outside the house, citing her busy schedule as a reason for not engaging in further conversations.
Venita Akpofure clarified that she is not friends with fellow housemate Mercy Eke, debunking the notion that they had a close friendship during their time in the Big Brother Naija house.
