Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has embarked on an collaborative venture with UnitedMasters, marking the launch of his new label, Nine+ Records, which signals the dissolution of his former record label, Davido Music Worldwide, DMW.
Announcing the transition on his social media platform X, on Saturday, 20th April 2024, Davido revealed that all current DMW artists will transition to Nine+ Records.
In this groundbreaking collaboration, Davido will assume responsibilities for artist development and A&R, setting the stage for a handpicked selection of Nigerian talent poised to revolutionize the music scene.
At the launch event, Steve Stoute, the visionary founder and CEO of UnitedMasters, expressed his enthusiasm, stating,
