Tiktoker, Ego Okoye, who was convicted for defaming Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, claims she was gang beaten by Badmus’s counterparts while in custody.
Ego revealed that she still had some undisclosed information regarding her arrest, while describing the brutality of the attack, she recalled about six people beating her.
According to her, she still has marks all over her body, as a result of the attack, noting that she was beaten more than she had ever been beaten by anyone in her life, calling the treatment inhumane.
Ego was arrested by the actress for defamation of character, after she went viral for claiming Badmus was a pimp, who connected young women to powerful older men.
After her arrest, Ego was convicted by the Federal high court Lagos on two counts of cyberstalking after pleading guilty to the charges.
She was sentenced to three years in prison, with an option of paying a fine of ₦150,000; which she paid.
