Super Falcons of Nigeria, have been ranked as the 10th best team at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, in the latest rankings released by the football governing body, FIFA, on Sunday, 20th August 2023, after Spain defeated England 1- 0 in the finals.
According to FIFA, the Super Falcons of Nigeria placed 10th out of the 32 teams at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
The teams were ranked based on their performance in the competition.
However, teams that were eliminated at the same stage are rated according to how they were eliminated.
The Super Falcons are the top-ranked African team competing in the competition.
Zambia is ranked 25th, South Africa, the current African champion, is ranked 16th, and Morocco is ranked 12.
