Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his family owns four power plants in Nigeria that supply electricity to millions of Nigerians.
Davido in a recent interview with the American podcast “Business Untitled“, discussed his family’s power plants business investments in Nigeria, despite his focus on music.
According to the singer, his family’s power generation business in Nigeria, provides the majority of their wealth.
We’re trying to do that because Nigeria is big on crypto, part from that me and my family, we have like four power plants worth a lot of money and we distribute energy to a lot of Nigerians. My wife too, I’m trying to start a restaurant for her. For me, my main focus is music.

He also shared his plans for his wife, Chioma Adeleke, who he hopes to open a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen.
